The hotel was further away from the centre of Orleans than we thought so we ate in the hotel the evening we arrived. It was getting dark and when we went to the centre in the morning, we were glad we hadn't attempted to walk there at night. …
As always, very friendly staff always happy to help. the beds were comfy and the rooms clean. excellent breakfast to speed us on our way. we stay there as an overnight stop on our way and way back from our holiday. it has become an essential part of our holiday.
Not sure who ranked Ibis hotels as 3 star hotels. So far in our Europe trip I will give them a 2 star ranking.

ROOM:
❗️The toilet bowl in our room has a disgusting black tartar ring and the shower is growing mold. The wall under the small window is stained (toilet bowl just beside it) and the carpet is in bad shape. (Entrance of the restroom)
✅ BUT I have to say the bedding felt clean.
The rooms size for a “3” star hotel are small .. for a 2 star one are fair.
Typical Ibis hotel with a quirky young design in the foyer. Quiet location. Nice bar and restaurant. Complimentary fruit basket. Breakfast is fine. Comfortable beds. Small rooms. A 15 minute walk into the city centre. Fine overall.
Great location to transport. Good for one night because although the rooms are clean, they are super small. It's very cramped for two people. Quiet, dark room. The AC stopped working and staff came right away to fix it.
Excellent as usual, clean rooms and friendly staff. Great breakfast and an essential part of our holiday.
